On Thursday April 8th, the Boys Freshman Basetball Team traveled to take on Walsh Jesuit High School for the second time in three days. The Bears lost to Walsh Jesuit 6 to 1. Walsh Jesuit got things started in the first inning with a single run and it remained a 1-0 game until the top of the fourth when the Freshman Bears finally pushed across a run with three straight hits and a walk to tie the game at 1-1. Walsh Jesuit pulled away for good with one run in the fourth and fifth innings and three more runs in the sixth inning. On Wednesday, April 7th, the Boys JV Baseball Team hosted Cuyahoga Falls High School. The Bears pounded out 12 hits and scored 17 runs and beat Cuyahoga Falls 17 – 4. On Tuesday April 6th, the Boys JV Baseball Team traveled to Cuyahoga Falls High School. The Bears won their third game of the year and defeated Cuyahoga Falls 10 to 0. The Bears started early and scored two runs in the first inning. Nate Sawyer led off the game with walk, moved to second on a wild pitch and then advanced to third on a single to right field by Alex Trivonovich . After Sawyer scored on a wild pitch, Trivonovich stole second base. Joey Escano singled past the third baseman and Trivonovich scored. Bears lead 2-0.
